چکیده

This paper examines the traditional architecture of fuzzy expert reasoning and suggests a reorientation, which is simpler, more intuitive, and more implementable. This new approach centers on first determining the degree of satisfaction that a rule applies to the current situation, and then using this degree of satisfaction to qualify the rule’s conclusion. This provides a theoretical basis for the effective work being done in practical fuzzy expert systems. But beyond this, satisfaction-oriented fuzzy reasoning establishes a framework for a large new space of fuzzy reasoning, both theoretical and practical. Satisfaction-Oriented Fuzzy Reasoning Peter V. A New Approach Applying Multi-objective Optimization using a Taguchi Fuzzy-based for Tourist Satisfaction Management

The paper describes the usage of the fuzzy Mamdani analysis and Taguchi method to optimize the tourism satisfaction in Thailand. The fuzzy reasoning system is applied to pursue the relationships among the options of a tour company in order to be used in Taguchi experiments as the responses. In this research, tourism satisfaction is carried out using L18 Taguchi orthogonal arrays on parameters s...

Field-based Fuzzy Spatial Reasoning Model for Geographical Information Systems: Case of Constraint Satisfaction Problem

Humans’ representation in nature language about geographic phenomena is usually qualitative rather than quantitative. Qualitative spatial reasoning provides an approach which is considered to be closer to the representation. Commercial GIS software are confronted with a challenge that the software should be equipped with artificial intelligent functions like qualitative spatial reasoning for mo...

Fuzzy Temporal Constraint Networks for Clinical Information

Modeling the temporal information in the medical record is an important area of research. This paper describes an extension of TimeText, a temporal reasoning system designed to represent, extract, and reason about temporal information in clinical text, to include the use of fuzzy temporal constraints. The addition of fuzzy temporal constraints increases TimeTexts ability to handle uncertainty i...

Qualitative and Quantitative Fuzzy Temporal Constraints

This paper describes a model for temporal reasoning that handles both quantitative and qualitative information affected by vagueness and uncertainty. Starting from two existing models, namely the Meiri’s system [9] and IA fuz [2, 3], the proposed approach generalizes the first to a fuzzy framework and extends the second in order to handle qualitative constraints. The system uses the Fuzzy Const...

Inheritance and Recognition in Uncertain and Fuzzy Object-Oriented Models

This paper proposes probabilistic default reasoning as a suitable approach to inheritance and recognition in uncertain and fuzzy object-oriented models. Firstly, we introduce an uncertain and fuzzy object-oriented model where a class property (i.e., an attribute or a method) can contain fuzzy sets interpreted as families of probability distributions, and uncertain class membership and property ...
